How long ago did they do away with the 1 year replacement policy? I havent bought anything from them in quite awhile, but I just got a card for my GF and started looking at the policy for returns it was 30 days on almost everything for exchange, and some things had 30 day refunds allowed but nothing has a 1 year warranty anymore from newegg. That was what kept me going back to them was that return policy knowing no dealing with the manufacturer and taking 2-3 weeks to get my new part if it died and had to exchange. I will just buy at Frys now, its about the same price, now the same return policy, and I get it the same day. Sucks!!

Just a guess but we can probably thank the state of the economy for changes like that. I still use newegg though, since it's less aggrevation to click than drive.

I buy almost everything from newegg. I don't worry about the 30 day warranty because I trust the manufacturer's that make what I buy and I only buy products from the ones I've had good experiences with or have done research on.
